Class society, which has dominated the world for many thousands of years, presupposes the division of people into various groups that are in certain economic and other social relations with each other. The most important of these groups are the two main classes that ensure the material existence of society, i.e. production. One of these classes, which owns the means of production and which organizes it, is the ruling class. The second, whose members own only their labor force, directly carrying out the production process, is an oppressed class.
