Abstract

Social media has become a crucial part of modern life and has changed the way we communicate, share information, and form opinions. Platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube allow users to quickly spread news, ideas, and opinions to a wide audience. In this new information landscape, populism, which is a political approach that seeks to appeal directly to ordinary people, has found a powerful tool. Populists use social media to reach large groups of people quickly and create strong emotional and ideological connections that can significantly influence public opinion and political outcomes. Understanding how social media and populism interact helps us see how technology shapes modern politics.
