Abstract

In mathematics, the limit of a sequence is the value that adds a the sequence "tends to", and is often denoted by the lim symbol  .If such a limit exists, the sequence converges. A sequence that does not converge is called such a divergent sequence. The limit of the sequence is called the basic concept on which the whole mathematical analysis ultimately rests.
