The article considers the tasks of researching information security of mobile communications using software defined networking technology with the use of switches, controllers and OpenFlow protocols. OpenFlow is the most widely used protocol in the Software Defined Networking (SDN) architecture, which separates the functions of network device management and data transmission. It moves the main management functions from routers and switches to centralized controllers. With centralized network management and controller programmability, SDN architecture has the potential to be used to modernize security capabilities and implement more effective methods to counter threats inherent in traditional data network architecture.
