The fundamental purpose of adopting task-based learning is to enhance the engagement of university students at the English language classes. At task-based learning, the responsibility for engagement with the material is placed upon the students, whilst the onus for task design and provision is placed upon the lecturers. This approach enables History faculty students to engage in spontaneous, individual and original experimentation with the foreign language. It can thus be concluded that each task offers students the opportunity to gain a unique personal experience of the foreign language.
