Abstract

The development of endoscopic surgery has become one of the most significant achievements of modern medicine. Over the last decades, minimally invasive techniques have largely replaced traditional open surgical procedures in many clinical situations. Endoscopic interventions provide adequate visualization of anatomical structures, allow precise surgical manipulation, and minimize operative trauma.
